Technology Program Manager

Overview
This new position will lead a team that works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver automation technology. The Technology Program Manager responsibilities include overseeing and delivering a complex program involving Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and Intelligent Automation (IA) within the context of a federal contract. This role requires a deep understanding of federal contracting and a proven history of successfully expanding the program’s footprint. The Technology Program Manager collaborates closely with prime contractors, government officials, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution while adhering to strict regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight: Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Federal Contracting: Navigate complex cost-plus federal contracting landscapes, ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) process, subcontracting regulations, and other government processes
- IDP and IA Implementation: Oversee the implementation of IDP and IA solutions and integrations
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prime contractors, government officials, and internal stakeholders
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the program, including technical, financial, and regulatory risks
- Financial Management: Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements
- Business Development: Find and pursue new business opportunities within the contract; seeking to expand the program by providing additional value
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables, adhering to industry standards and best practices
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must obtain a moderate-risk or high-risk Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 15+ years of experience in Program Management, focusing on technology projects
- 7+ years of experience in federal contracting
- Experience managing others (directly or indirectly)
- Ability to travel as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management
- Experience managing programs with annual billings of at least $2M to $5M
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP)
- Strong technical understanding of IDP and IA technologies
